Hi there!

My name is Kyle, and I love tea. More specifically, along with all kinds of tea, I adore hand-crafted, high quality tea ware, as I believe it adds magnitudes to the tea making experience.

I enjoyed my first hand-crafted piece of tea ware through a bowl of matcha from little tea shop in Kyoto, and since then I have been hooked on growing a personal collection; a mosaic of all the care and tradition that goes into every bowl that I get to use on a daily basis.

I have had the pleasure of learning much about the various styles of tea bowls - everything from the methods of shaping and glazing, all the way to the history of the kilns themselves - and my hope is that through Kosei Tea Ware, this joy can be shared with everyone!
